Jennie + JP

Jennie and JP, two outdoor enthusiasts who live in WNC, selected our venue as the backdrop for their classic mountain wedding in late May. The weather was gorgeous!

With a smaller guest count, they were able to use the stone patio at the lodge for their ceremony - and on this picture-perfect early summer day, the scenery couldn't have been better.

Jennie and JP love the mountains, and they weren't afraid to have a few adventures to get the perfect shots in the woods and creeks on the property with Nick Breedlove Photography!

Local bluegrass music with Ian Moore and Adam Bigelow kept everyone tapping their toes during the cocktail hour and the Southern-style dinner from Lulu's on Main in Sylva was a huge hit.

(It made beautiful plates, too!)

We loved the simplicity and beauty of Jennie and JP's wedding and enjoyed the special touches they included that were unique to them as a couple, such as their cool pint glasses complete with a bike theme for guests to use with the local craft beer they served. The bike theme was carried through to the homemade cookie favors too. We especially loved the elegant place settings and flowers arrangements and bouquets designed by Ray's Florist in Sylva.
